The
Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation
(ONIC) is a not-for-profit housing development
company that has been developing affordable
housing in Central Florida since 1989. The
provision of quality, permanent, affordable
housing is ONIC’s mission.
ONIC is directed by a board that represents
the full range of skills present in housing
development as well as broad community support.
The staff of ONIC is highly skilled with
experience in all phases of housing development
and neighborhood revitalization
ONIC has built an award-winning track record
of creating well-designed, high-quality
housing and living environments. Its communities
include those where the units are all priced
at affordable levels, as well as mixed-income
developments in which affordable units are
mixed in with market-rate units. All of
ONIC's communities have enhanced resident
services that span the spectrum from recreation,
education, counseling, and personal enrichment.
ONIC
has IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization
status, and is a chartered member of the
NeighborWorks® America network of community
